Hi! i explored a part of lake Huron normally covered by water. The area is called Kettle point and the lake bed is almost completely covered with shale. The stone is very heavy for its size, looks molten on top and rough on the bottom with some cubic shapes in between. It does not mark paper but looks shinny when I go at it with a metal file. Any idea what it might be? Attachments:

Looks like molten copper or brass. something from a foundry those cubes on the bottom look like iron pyrite...
