I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kyle Marshall and I've always been into rocks and minerals / geology in general really. I've never really reached out to a group with the same interests before so this is a first. Just looking to learn a little more about the group and more serious rock hound lifestyle. I attached a picture of a herkimer diamond I found when I was 9. Kind of the best thing I've found so far. Tell me what you think and let me know what your best find has been to if you want! Talk to you soon. Best regards, Kyle Attachments:

Kyle.....Welcome to this site and glad to see you have been able to hold onto your crystal and that your interest is alive and well. I was in New York last year breaking rock for 6 days in search of Herkimer specimens. Well my best Herk was stolen there at the Ace of Diamonds mine out of the host rock. Sadly not everyone is honest. I do have all the others I found there. My other best is a nice chalcedony goblet specimen I found here in Arizona this year. I leave for 2 weeks rockhounding in Idaho/Oregon border area in a few days and sure hope to find a new best specimen there. How old are you now Kyle? What state are you located in?
