Boy did Jeff scream when he got this BLUE BARITE out today! He came play in Colorado and ask me to help find some good rocks , went to one of my favorite places for color changing Barite ! After a heavy few minutes of digging ( just kidding ) he screamed loud enought to make the buffalo run ! He had a single Barite plate in his hands that weighed about 15 to 18 lbs. . This set of pics it is not cleaned so he can get it home in good shape. Here he is searching the float and also found lots and finally a pile of the spoils . note the biggest is a large multi plate specimen showing hundreds of plates when cleaned it will really inpress and the one next to it is the point on the single plate that weigh over 15 pounds. Next I took him to see an abandoned copper mine where he found good azurite/crysacola,and a few pieces of copper vein with crystals of malicite . did not pic those though. Thanks for comming out Jeff! Dicky
