Much smaller, (about 1 square inch) and not as blaze orange. On one edge it has very small bumps like a fire agate. If I knew how to post more than one pic, I would post that angle too. Should I tumble this thing or just sand off the rough? Attachments:

So I took a pic of the bumps, and under the magnification (or effect) of the camera, it looks like fire inside? Did someone from California dump a pocket full of rocks out here, lol... Attachments:

Do you have access to a saw? A trim saw would work nicely on that. Cut the rough off and see what you got. Or you could tumble it for a couple months. That's probably what a lot of folks would say would be the best thing to do with it. Me, I don't have the patience for that. It's a real pretty piece of agate and I would probably try and cut off the rough stuff on both sides and see what's in the middle. If that doesn't work then you got 3 pieces you can tumble.
