In the 6th one down and the 5th one up, I just love that triple stacked one just above the quarter!! What a marvelous find.

George, Looks like you had a good day at Glendon. One never realizes how heavy a bucket of pyrite is until one has to carry it to the car. Nice finds!!

The crazy thing is I think all 111 people came out with simular hauls of goodies...great trip

Rick, I kept telling George to "dig harder, dig harder"......but he seemed content to just go home with a few thousand pieces of pyrite. The amount of material found was incredible.

Just multiply the amount George found by 111 and you get some idea of the amount of pyrite hauled out of the mine. If pyrite is contaminate in the mine's material, then MAGMA helped them by taking out a large amount of material. Great finds George; let's do it again next fall.
