this one was killer to find took me 4 hours just to get to the solid rock and an hour to pull the chunk on top of it but its a fair sized specimen just over a foot Attachments:

Walker Valley is almost in my back yard. I have a hunch that the infilling you have is calcite. Most of the jackstraw shapes that I have seen are calcites. If you had found this unbroken, chances are that it was full of water and still growing!!
