It looks like there may not be enough people registering for the fluroescent dig in New Jersey to be able to have it this year. If you are interested in going you NEED to register right away! I just got this in my email:
Hi again from your TRIPPPLE-DIGGG TripMaster -
I hope you have made plans to join with us in April 2004 ! !
Time is closing in on us, and we MUST have at least 100 people
registered in order to open the property for the Diggg ...
as of today, we have 71 registered digggers ... we need at least
THIRTY more sign-ups to break even on this exciting adventure...
If you have not registered, please do so soon -- if you know
someone who might be interested, nudge them a little bit.
By the way, some people have asked about where the registration fee
goes and what is it used for -- 95% of the registration goes to pay for
having new areas of the site 'turned up' with a bulldozer and shovel so
that you have fresh areas and fresh goodies to search. Hiring heavy
machinery like that to come on site and move the earth around does not
come cheaply these days -- that's why we need the minimum 100 people to
register... that just pays for excavation costs. Most of the rest of
the planning, supplies, etc. are donated by friends to keep the cost
down.
Just a reminder -- the cost of the Trippple Diggg has remained the same
since 1999 !!! What else do you know of that has kept the same price
for six years?
Looking forward to seeing you in April -- only four weeks to go.
