Pseudomorph Agate : size 7 cm x 11 cm Weight : 394 Grams (almost one pound). Half of this agate is published in Mr. Zenz ""Agate " Book page 366. One of a kind agate found after cutting hundreds of kilos . From a gravel Pit alongside "Rio Uruguay" , Argentinian Border. Also in Zenz Agate Book page 365. This is the kind of agate you find by accident!! Jasper found in a Gravel Pit alongside "Rio Uruguay" , Argentinian Border 12,5cm x 7 cm weight 420 grams (over one pound Agate found in a Gravel Pit alongside "Rio Uruguay" , Argentinian Border 6cm x 4 cm ; 113 grams This agate from a gravel pit drove our attention. Some new pictures from different sources in Argentina (Patagonian Agates ; Gravel Pit Agates and Agates from the "Cuyean" Region ("Condor" type ). will be posted soon. Ricardo & Claudia Birnie

So many colors, shapes and forms!
Do you have any idea what they will look like before they are cut?

This is how they look before cutting ; although the % of good agates is as low as 5% or even less if you are looking for some outstanding "Collector grade agate" The advantage is that agates are found by tons ; the disadvantage is that tons have to be cut to find an interesting specimen. One of the pictures of the agates looks like cellular structure in dinosaur bones. Another reminds me of cameos in the slabs. Nice work.
