Hi guys and gals.
My name is Michal and I am a newbie rockhound as well as a web developer. All the information selflessly shared online by fellow rockhounds has helped me immensely in getting started and I decided I want to give back to the community, using my skills to build a free website or an app. So my question to all of you is: If you could create the perfect website/app for rockhounding what would it look like? What would it be able to do? What features would you like to see?
Thanks in advance for any answers, take care!

I would like google earth files that we can download. Also maybe pictures to go along with locations.

The ability to export site data [name, mineral, county, state, GPS] cleanly from, say, Mindat.com... and insert it into a search form automatically and easily at another site, would facilitate mineral sourcing IMMENSELY! Currently it's a real P.I.T.A. to copy and paste. If you want to do it on my site, or help out with my S.E.O., I'd be happy to return the favor with exposure and credit. Some cool stones too! Maybe a personalized gold tour, if you're REALLLLY good
