I have a 10'' by 11'' specimen which is that I am interested in selling. I collected this specimen about 20 years ago at camp cuyamaca in southern California and it is either spessartine garnet or almandine garnet in albite. That is what I have been told by a local gemologist in Balboa Park. I am trying to find the correct avenue in the area of interest since I was told it would be of more value as a specimen. If you may be interested or can send me in the direction of someone of interest in this piece it would be greatly appreciated. I have also been told that it holds a value up to $1200. Open to offers and the asking price is negotiable not the amount listed. Thank you for your time. Attachments:

Hate to burst your bubble but it is probably worth $200 to$300 and that is without any dings in the garnets. you may be able to get more for it from a collector that does not have one from this local. Good Luck.
