rusty hematite? I dunno. Looks to be some kind of metallic ore though. Not the prettiest thing IVe ever seen, but it sure is neat.

It is not pretty at all but it is interesting. I first thought it was melted soda can on a lava rock but when I found the new stuff deep underground (well kinda deep) I was shocked. By the way I will gladly send some to someone who can test it to see what it is. I got a few nice pieces

slag for sure...check out the area behind the Sheboygan quarry....huge pieces in the woods

LOL that is where I found them. Down at the river. Pigeon river. I thought since they were buried under the river bank I thought I had something. O well the color is pretty sweet
