My name is Felicia, I'm kinda psyched to find this board. I've been collecting for a year now and despite a couple of excellent books and Dvd's, and countless hours collecting and studying my collection, I feel like so could never know enough or identify them all!
I live in Oregon on Mt Hood, a pretty fascinating place geologically. I hike and camp and raft and pick up stones everywhere I go. I am dying to get a tumbler!
I'm sure I'll be posting pics for help identifying soon!

Welcome from another noob I found a little double-tumbler and a box of assorted grit buried in my grandparents' shed but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Tumblers aren't terribly expensive, but in rock country like that who knows you might run across one at a yard sale or something.
