Hey everyone, just a beginning rock hound here, once my daughter gets older we'll be hounding together, just wondering how many other hounds are in the area and what we should be looking for. We are on the western side of the cascades, close to Mt. Ranier

I don't live in that area but hundreds of relatives do. My uncle lives on Vashon and was a glaciologist on Mount Ranier for years. I have traded with several Washington rockhounds who have stopped in at my shop. Just out of curiosity I googled rock clubs and there are many in western WA.
