The one in picture 2 is to die for. That is one heck of a sweet rock, it has it all. That one should be in a museum.

Keith, I should get to that today. Do you remember that huge quartz bolder that was between us? Well it broke apart. The cen ter had a large pocket with a three inch crystal in it. I'll post a picture of that one also. Great time. Hope we can do it again

Now that is what I call great skeletal clusters. It has been a while since I saw pictures of such nice pieces posted on this board I always enjoy seeing pictures of skeletal points. Thanks for your postings.

These were found in a pocket in a large boulder in the skelatal pit. The boulder weight was about 400 pounds. I poped these out of the pocket. The rest of the crystals were small. This first one is 2 inches tall and 2 inches wide at the base. The crystal is just over 1 inches wide. This one is 1 inches tall and 1 3/4 inches tall at the base. This one is 1 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches at the base. The skelatal crystal formation on these are different than most other skelatal that come from Diamond hill. Thanks for looking. Ray

That does have some interesting, rather unique growth patterns. I also like the way it sits up so perfectly for display. What sort of coating did they have on them when you found them?

Steve, there were only a couple of iron oxide spots on them. I soaked them clean in super iron out. The white is very shiny.
